We made our 5th annual trip out to Fox Island (where we got married) to a funny little Christmas tree farm. You pay $10 and get to cut down any tree you want. They are not the most beautiful trees in the world but it is fun and now tradition. Natalie was really excited to get a tree. She had spent most of last week reporting to me who already had their tree up as we drove past houses on our way back from school each day. She got to wear her pink horsey boots and a pink hat (her favorite color). Natalie found a crop of dandelions at the tree farm and actually spent the entire time looking for and picking flowers. You can see her lovely bouquet in the picture. She decorated a tree with them before we left. After finding the perfect tree we headed back home and set it up. Natalie and I enjoyed hot chocolate while Daddy fought with the tree. Also a tradition. Natalie was a big help decorating and loved putting every ornament on even though it was pretty full. After all the hard work she came into the living room and announced "I like our Christmas tree."
